I was in Montreal last week and got a chance to check out the Miles Davis exhibit, "We Want Miles" at the Musee des beaux-arts de Montreal. Anyone that knows me well knows that I am totally influenced by this incredible artist and found the exhibit was curated wonderfully and would satisfy any true Davis fan. The exhibit closes this sunday but I do hope that it makes its way to Toronto sometime in the near future.

Hey, thanks to all my supporters, collectors, family and friends that ventured out to the Royal Ontario Museum to support the group exhibit, "From the Soul" which closed last week. All the different conversations I've had regarding the exhibit have helped inspire new work and I am so excited about being back in the lab.
I want to also extend a "thankyou" to the couple artists in my hometown that have decided that my inspiration is so overwhelming they must emulate. Believe me, I take it as a compliment whether my audience does or not. I would like to say however, one should strive to be enterprising, be inspired, but please mostly, be original or else what are you doing it for? Anyway, you have helped me to dig deeper into my soul and return to the dream that pushed me into this direction in the first place.
more to come soon...one.
