I was invited to speak at George Henry C.I. in Toronto last week. It was a great experience and I enjoyed the time spent with the grade 11 & 12 art students. Special thanks to Ileen Kohn for arranging the afternoon.

This was a very prolific year for me and I am grateful for all the support and love that I've recieved. Just 2 years ago I was encouraged by some good friends to begin painting in a more serious and dedicated way, to begin showing my work and getting it out and available to the people. This being my first year doing so, I am delighted with the results and look forward to the future. Several different projects are in the works right now and I will reveal them as the time nears.
For now, a special thank you to all who attended my latest opening for "We Are Rock & Roll" at Cartel. Here are some photos from the evening.

Also, here is an article I found in Spin magazine on the black influence of rock & roll in the 80's

Once Again It's On...

So we installed all 35 pieces of "...Rock & Roll" in Cartel yesterday and if I do say so myself it's lookin pretty good. I worked day and night on the collection and am really hoping the pieces connect with the viewers.
If you're free tonight, please do drop by, grab a drink and view some originals.
There might be a small surprise in store.

NEW WORK = NEW SHOW

I have been hard at work completing the pieces for my next solo show, titled, "We Are Rock&Roll". The show will be a multi-media event and will again take place at Cartel in downtown Toronto.

This suite will document and examine the Black inventors, contributors and driving spirits behind the music that we refer to today as - rock.

The tentative date for the opening is November 6.
Stay tuned...
